Learn To Race

This course is designed for competent sailors who want to take the next step into yacht racing.  Participants must have successfully completed either the Yachting New Zealand Level 1 course, or both Level 1 and Level 2 courses, or have equivalent sailing experience.

The course covers spinnaker handling, advanced boat handling, racing rules, starting techniques, race strategy, and tactical decision-making to help you become a confident and competitive racer.

Training takes place as part of the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club Wednesday Night Series or Winter Series, providing real racing experience in a supportive learning environment.
